At the First National Bank of Ottawa, your privacy is very important to us. As a customer, you by necessity, provide us with certain personal information about yourself. While information is the cornerstone of our ability to provide superior service, our most important asset is our customers’ trust. Keeping customer information secure and using it only as our customer would want us to is a top priority. We do not share your personal information with third parties not affiliated with The First National Bank of Ottawa except under the following circumstances:

Transaction and experience information, such as your account balance, payment history and transaction details may be shared among us and our affiliates as allowed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

We do not share information about former customers, except as may be permitted or required by law.

All of your personal customer information is deemed to be confidential in nature. We maintain procedural, electronic and physical safeguards to protect your privacy that comply with federal standards. Our employees may access your information only when there is an appropriate reason to do so, such as to administer or offer our products and service.
