Other Checking Accounts
Your choices range from our popular, interest bearing First Checking account, which offers interest when the daily minimum balance is over $1,500, and waived service charging if you maintain a $500 average daily balance, for the monthly statement cycle, or choose to opt out of receiving a mailed statement.
For Customers who wish to receive a mailed monthly statement with images of their checks, the traditional Personal Checking account service charge is waived when an average daily balance of $500.00 is kept in the account during the monthly statement cycle.
Savings Accounts
The First National Bank of Ottawa savings account requires a $100 deposit to open, and offers customers a competitive rate of interest if a minimum balance of $2,000 is maintained each day. Children* up to age 16 receive the same benefits with an initial deposit of as little as $20.
Interest on First National Bank of Ottawa savings accounts is compounded daily and paid quarterly.
*A Parent or Guardian must have deposit account with The First National Bank of Ottawa.
Health Savings Accounts (HSA)
